Description
This beautiful stoneware tea pot hand thrown by Kate Jenkins on a wooden foot operated pottery wheel, in her studio just north of the Barossa Valley.
Holds two cups
Made using locally sourced clay from Golden Grove in South Australia.
This item has been made with love and care, for you and the planet.
It is lead-free and dishwasher safe although when possible we recommend gentle hand washing. Please avoid exposing it to extremes in temperature and do take care when handling and storing.
Approx 12.5cm diameter at base and 9cm high including lid. Listing is for one.
This glaze is a gentle matte grey with iron speckles coming through from the body underneath. The glaze that may craze over time and we feel this is part of its charm. The inside of the pot may over time develop a beautiful spiderweb pattern as it soaks up tea colour. Because the clay has been fired beyond 1260 degrees Celsius it is vitreous and so completely safe.
PLEASE note shipping is a flat fee of $12 in Australia. All items are wrapped and packed in eco friendly or reclaimed materials.
