These beautiful stoneware latte cups were hand thrown by Kate Jenkins on a wooden foot operated pottery wheel, in her studio just north of the Barossa Valley. Made using locally sourced clay from Golden Grove in South Australia.
These items have been made with love and care, for you and the planet.
They are lead-free and dishwasher safe although when possible we recommend gentle hand washing. Please avoid exposing it to extremes in temperature and do take care when handling and storing.
Approx 8cm height x 8cm diameter each. Listing is for one plus silicone lid.
The silicone lid has not been made by a hundred mile maker using hundred mile materials, much to our disappointment. If you already have one at home that fits an 8cm diameter cup please choose the cup only option. We think that would be rocking.
This glaze is matte with iron speckles coming through from the body underneath. It is a glaze that often crazes and we feel this is part of its charm. The inside of the cup may over time develop a beautiful spiderweb pattern as it soaks up tea or coffee colour. Because the clay has been fired beyond 1260 degrees Celsius it is vitreous and so completely safe.
PLEASE note shipping is a flat fee of $12 in Australia. All items are wrapped and packed in eco friendly or reclaimed materials.
